Annual Meeting

The Japan Lung Cancer Society (JLCS) has held its Annual Meeting every year since it started its activities in 1960. This year will be the 63rd Annual Meeting of the JLCS. About 4,500 people participate over the course of the meeting, including not only healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of lung cancer, but also patients and their families, and corporate representatives. The number of attendees is increasing every year.

The most distinctive feature of the Annual Meeting is the great variety of the program planned by the Society’s President, who leads the organization of the meeting. It includes all kinds of information about lung cancer, basic and clinical research, diagnosis, treatment, care, patient programs, educational lectures, and joint initiatives with overseas societies. Every year, lively discussion takes place in all the sessions.

We are also delighted to welcome participation from overseas delegates. For details, please see the Annual Meeting page (link provided).
